I bought the ESP25 backup pump several weeks ago and installed it simply lastly week. I also replaced the existing AC pump that received been in surgery for 23+ years – original with the house (Trident, exemplar P1511, 1/2 hp). Equally much water equally I pump I simply0 couldn’t trust it to continue…I’d say it did identical considerably and never received an issue. I will keep it around equally a backup for the AC pump. Had I been able to read the nameplate on the Trident while it was yet in the hole, I plausibly would have used Trident again.I replaced the Trident with a Coleman, 1/2 horse at the same time I installed the Wayne backup unit. I had never worked with PVC and I hate plumbing type fixes since I forever have to decease back the shop to make extra parts. In this suit I read the Wayne install manual and knew completely regions necessary. I bought 2 10ft PVC pipes, 90 and 45 point connectors and the primer/cement. Too purchased a size 27, 105 amp/hr deep cycle battery ($94). My sump hole is 18in across thence both pumps corresponded nicely and since the Wayne pump has the swim attached to the exhaust piping there is no interference with the swim on the AC pump. The Wayne discharge pipe Y’s into the main discharge piping from the AC pump – per the instruction manual. The Wayne install and prove directions were easy to follow and complete. During the install I received unplugged (from AC outlets) both pumps while working on the discharge pipage outside the house when all of a sudden the water begun pouring away the pipe…I received forgotten the Wayne unit was battery run…it had its first test and passed! Thence far the Wayne pump has not been necessary since our electricity has not become off. I surely experience more confident knowing Wayne ESP25 Sump Pump it is in place and prepare to forge if necessary.
