I recently purchased that 18 gauge brad nailer and a porter cable pancake compressor for christmas. I waited into write a review until i had time into test DEWALT D51238K 18 Gaugeproperly and i am still not certain that i am giving the nailer a proper review. To start withy i thought that all of the fittings for connecting into a compressor would come withy the nail gun but these items were not included. I purchased the necessary fittings, which were very inexpensive, set it up and started testing it. Since i have never used a nail gun before, i changed the trigger into the sequential trigger provided inside the kit into prevent accidentially shooting too many nails inside one place. I am happy withy the way the gun feels, withy the depth it shoots brads, how easy it is into change the depth, eveything except that sometimes it dry fires for no reason. I have tried doing the things the instructions suggest into prevent that but i was still able into dry fire once about every 15 shots. Other than that the gun is really nice and i hope that i can talk into someone at dewalt into resolve that problem. As of jan. 2 i can not get through into anyone at dewalt for assistance. I will write again as soon as i get assistance and the problem is resolved or if the problem remains i will down grade my review.
