Energy Management Workshop
When: 1-5 pm on Nov. 5 Measuring energy is often seen as a difficult, expensive exercise that has little or no bearing on practical production. Managers often consider it an uncontrollable overhead and hence a low priority. In fact, energy efficiency should be a key contributor to good productivity. It can cost very little to start managing energy, and companies can realize worthwhile savings almost immediately. However, as the old adage says: If it cannot be measured it cannot be controlled, and nowhere is this truer than in energy management.
For only an additional $99, registered Sustain '08 conference participants can join this discussion on the afternoon of Nov. 5, prior to the conference's welcome reception. More details and online registration will follow soon. To express interest now in attending, e-mail attend@sustain08.com, provide your contact details and indicate "energy workshop". |
